Late Shri Bhagchand Bajaj was a prominent entrepreneur, philanthropist, and an inspiring personality dedicated to social work in the city of Amravati. A man who lived a very struggling life, he was a visionary who built a world from nothing and always gave humanity the highest priority.
His journey from a regular job to establishing his own successful business is truly inspiring.
He made a name for himself in the textile and real estate sectors.
He laid the foundation of Dove Garments Pvt Ltd. His vision was to train and give employment to large numbers of local workers and be a Nationality recognised textile company.
He successfully established significant complexes like Khatri Complex and Ram Laxman Sankul. His greatest achievement was the creation of Busyland Commercial City, a 200-acre commercial hub. He built this magnificent project without the help of any associations or advance payments, facing numerous challenges. He provided shops to small traders on easy installments and loans, which transformed their lives. Today, this market is known as Maharashtra's number one market. Due to his vision and positive competition, many new markets were created, providing employment to countless people. Today, everyone trusts his foresight.
Beyond business, his heart was always in social service. He began his political journey as a Shivsena worker and even fought local elections. He served as the secretary in the local community council. Later, he joined the BJP party and also served as the City Vice President.
Subsequently, he provided excellent service to the Lions Club as Club President, Zone President, Region Chairperson, and District Governor, and won many awards. He was always there to help the disabled and the needy. Tragically, he passed away on September 5, 2014, during a Lions Club-organized social service trip.
His life is a continuous source of inspiration for everyone in the city.
